Hokey Pokey...or something like it!

Owen makes us laugh out loud at least three times a day. A couple of nights ago he was playing in his room and found Hokey Pokey Elmo he got for Christmas last year. He pressed his hand and watched Elmo do the Hokey Pokey dance a few times and then decided he wanted to partake in the fun. We were watching from around the corner and it was hilarious. He would put his foot and arm in and shake it all about but also added his own groovy dance moves. I'm not sure who he gets his great dance skills from??

Alone Time

Seth and I enjoyed some quality time together this past week in Charleston. I had my annual marketing conference so Seth took the week off and was able to come with me. We stayed at the beautiful Francis Marion Hotel and Seth golfed while I was in class during the day. At night we ate delicious seafood and was in bed by 10:00. It was nice to catch up on some much needed rest and relaxation. We ended up cutting our trip a little short because Owen's double ear infection reoccurred and he was running a high fever. I overheard him while on the phone with my mom say, "I want my mama". That's all she wrote, so we packed up and left Charleston at 10:00pm Thursday night. Many thanks to Bach and Vee for keeping Owen for a few of days and to my parents for taking such good care of our sick little boy.

Catch Up...

Gosh, the last week has flown by. Let's see if I can play a little catch up!

Owen attended Baker & Ellison's 2nd birthday celebration and had a great time.

Owen had the death grip on his Elmo balloons throughout the party...too funny!

Alan, Sheri and baby Lillie are doing well and getting adjusted to parenthood. Nothing is more precious than to see a sleeping baby.

Owen absolutely LOVES his cousin.

My grandfather was inducted into the Hall of Heroes on Veteran's Day for his service in the Korean War. It was an emotional and proud moment for our family. Isn't he handsome in his blues uniform?

Introducing...

My beautiful niece, Lillian Kathryn, was born on Halloween at 12:31 p.m., 8.9 pounds and 20 inches. Alan, Sheri and baby Lillie are all doing well and anxiously waiting to go home from the hospital this afternoon. Everyone is thrilled to have another baby in the family and Owen already loves his cousin Lillie. Seeing how gentle and loving Owen was with Lillie at the hospital gave me a touch of baby fever (uh oh, did I just say that out loud)??

I love this pic of Alan looking at his little girl.

Happy Halloween

Our little fisherman had a great Halloween. Owen didn't really understand the whole trick-or-treating situation but had a great time anyway. He looked adorable and wasn't shy about saying "trick-or-tweat" to anyone. We made rounds to all the immediate family and it was great seeing everyone. Thanks for all the goodies!

Delivering treats to friends in the neighborhood.

A stroll through the park.

More trick-or-treating. The cricket bucket held lots of candy.

Maddox...the cutest giraffe ever!

My heart melted, "trick-or-tweat pease".
