Christmas Memories

Is Christmas already over? It takes so long to prepare and then it's over with the blink of an eye. Anyway, we had a wonderful but busy Holiday vacation. Owen was a trooper as we completely got off his schedule with all the family gatherings. We thoroughly enjoyed spending a few days at home with absolutely nothing to do but play with new toys and read new books. Poor Seth did catch the stomach virus that seems to being going around, but thank goodness is getting better and should be much better by Gator Bowl time!! Happy New Year!

Owen was excited to feed the cows at the Carson Christmas party. He held on to his bag of apples and called the cows.

Ewww...Seth's hand got slimed! Owen was terrified last year and wanted nothing to do with the cows but boy how things change!

Owen still wasn't too sure about the fireworks display at my grandparent's house...maybe next year. He did enjoy watching through the glass door.

Santa made a stop at our house and Owen was so excited he smiled and touched each toy just to make sure it was real.

Is all this really mine? That look in his eye was truly a magical moment.

All dressed and ready for Christmas Day at Bach/V's, Grand-mama Mac's and Nah-Nah/Bop-Bop's house.

Owen loved the Batman Big Wheel he got at Bach's house. If only we could get the pedaling process in motion.

I think he has a little growing room in the new monkey towel Nah-Nah gave him.

Christmas Spirit

As I was getting a towel for Owen to complete bath time, I overheard him singing. We have been working on Jingle Bells so let me introduce Owen's version...too cute!

Busy Time of Year

I can't believe Christmas is almost here! We have been busy over the past couple of weeks, which all started with Thanksgiving. Seth and I hosted our first Thanksgiving dinner at our house with my side of the family the Sunday before Thanksgiving day. Everything went great and everyone was able to come and enjoy the beautiful weather. We spent Thanksgiving day at Seth's parents house and enjoyed another huge meal and more beautiful weather. The weekend concluded with Maddox's first birthday celebration and dedication. Happy Birthday sweet Maddox!!

After cheering on the Tigers to victory we officially started our Holiday season by getting our Christmas tree. We let Owen choose the tree all by himself this year and he did a spectacular job. He even helped decorate the tree (which took several hours). Now that all the decorating is complete, Christmas cards are mailed and gifts are bought and wrapped, I can finally slow down and enjoy this wonderful time of year!

"I like this one daddy."

Our little tiger.

Little Seth (Owen) and little Ty (Austin) enjoy a snack as they cheer on the tigers.

Owen can't get enough Lillie lovin.
