A Little Mountain Air...

We recently enjoyed a trip to the Grove Park Inn. We actually took Owen when he was only three months old but this was his first time enjoying all the sites. What did he enjoy the most? He loved it all...Christmas trees, gingerbread houses, fireplace in the lobby, the view from our room, etc... It was nice to get away for a few days and come back refreshed ready to begin the Holiday Season. I am thrilled to be off work for the rest of the week and look forward to spending time at home with my boys! Happy Thanksgiving!!

A TRUE TIGER FAN!

Owen thoroughly enjoyed Halloween this year. He went to a tiger football game that morning/afternoon, took a nap, and trick-or-treated with the neighborhood kids that evening. His smile got brighter each time someone dropped candy in his Thomas the Train bucket and we were SURE trick-or-treating would be all he talked about the next day…wrong! Instead, he wanted to go back to see the Tigers play football! In fact, that’s all he’s talked about for a solid week. We honestly had no idea he would become so infatuated with the tigers, but can’t deny it doesn't thrill us either! Not only does he carry around a picture of himself with the Tiger mascot, we can’t seem to make him stop asking us to play Tiger Rag (if we say no, he hums the tune). Even at night during his prayers he thanks God for his family, friends and the Clemson Tiger. So if you see our little sports fan wearing his football jersey at an inappropriate time or carrying around an old Tiger photo please excuse him. Also, beware he can spot a tiger paw within a 1/2 mile radius. The other day he almost knocked a man over in Subway to tell him he had a tiger paw on his checkbook. So, as Owen would say “Go Clesson Tigers!!!!” Whether you are a Clemson fan or not, you gotta love it!
